Is Modulo a new Jujutsu Kaisen manga?
Yes. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo is an official spin-off, not an unrelated new series. Shueisha’s Japanese series page gives the title as 呪術廻戦≡ and its reading as モジュロ. “Modulo” is a useful romanization; the page inspected does not establish an official English-language title. Some headlines and fan discussion use “Mojuro,” but that is not the reading listed by Shueisha.

The original Jujutsu Kaisen manga began in March 2018 and concluded in September 2024, according to a 2025 announcement from Universal Studios Japan.
Who is making the manga, and when did it begin?
Gege Akutami is credited with the story and Yuji Iwasaki with the art. The series started in Weekly Shonen Jump issue 41 of 2025, released on September 8, 2025. ORICON’s launch report identifies the creators’ roles and reports the launch date; Shueisha’s official series page lists the starting issue.

What is the story about?
The official synopsis places the story in 2086, 68 years after the Culling Game. A spaceship arrives, and beings who call themselves Simurians appear. Sorcerers Okkotsu Tsurugi and Okkotsu Yuka are named as central figures in the fate of Earth.
How long is the series, and how many volumes are listed?
At launch, Akutami described Modulo as a short-term serialization and estimated “around three collected volumes.” That was an estimate, not a precise promise about the ending date. Shueisha’s series page currently lists volumes 1, 2, and 3.
