GE TV is Globo’s free, digital sports-entertainment channel. In Brazil, the main ways to watch it are Globoplay, the official ge tv YouTube channel, Samsung TV Plus, the ge.globo portal, and participating TV services including Claro, where current listings show channel 536.
The important limitation is that GE TV’s availability is not identical for every match, device, country, or platform. If you are looking for a particular football game or other event, confirm the event’s own listing rather than assuming that every Globo sports right appears on GE TV.

Where to watch GE TV
| Platform | How to find GE TV | Important limitation |

| Globoplay | Open the live-channel area and search for GE TV. Globo announced that GE TV replaced the former GE Fast channel in the Globoplay lineup. | Free channel access should not be confused with paid Globoplay packages for other channels and sports properties. |
| YouTube | Use the verified ge tv channel. Its channel page displays live and scheduled programming. | A GE TV YouTube channel does not mean every Globo-owned event is streamed there. |
| Samsung TV Plus | Search the service’s live guide for “GE TV.” | Availability and channel lineups vary by country, compatible television, and time. |
| ge.globo | Check the GE portal for live programming and event coverage that identifies GE TV as an outlet. | Individual event pages are the best way to confirm the actual broadcaster. |
| Claro | Current Claro football listings identify GE TV as channel 536; Claro’s TV+ Box terms list “GE TV HD” at the same number. | Channel numbers and eligibility can vary by Claro product, location, and package. |
1. Watch GE TV on Globoplay
For viewers in Brazil, Globoplay is the clearest official streaming route. Search the service’s live-channel section for GE TV. Globo announced that the channel would replace GE Fast in the Globoplay lineup.
Globo documents Globoplay support for smartphones, tablets, compatible Smart TVs, Android TV, Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV Stick, and selected Claro devices. The exact app experience can differ by device and region, so the presence of Globoplay on a device does not by itself guarantee that every GE TV program will be available there.

GE TV was announced as a free digital channel. That does not mean that every sports channel or every Globo sports broadcast is free. Globoplay’s paid packages can include channels such as sportv and other premium sports products, while rights to a particular event may be divided among TV Globo, sportv, Premiere, GE TV, and other outlets.
2. Watch the official GE TV YouTube channel
YouTube is the simplest option for viewers who do not want to use a television-provider application. Search YouTube for the verified ge tv channel and check its live or scheduled streams. The channel page shows programming that can include Brazilian football, Libertadores coverage, volleyball, and other sports content.
Before a match begins, check the stream’s title, schedule, and description. Sports rights are event-specific: the existence of a GE TV channel does not establish that every Brasileirão, Libertadores, NFL, World Cup, or other Globo-related event will be available on YouTube.
3. Find GE TV on Samsung TV Plus
Globo included Samsung TV Plus in GE TV’s announced Brazilian distribution. Samsung TV Plus is a free, advertising-supported service on compatible Samsung Smart TVs and does not generally require a separate subscription or payment for its basic channel service.

Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Open Samsung TV Plus and search the live guide for GE TV. This is safer than relying on a fixed channel number: TV Plus catalogs can change, and availability differs by country and device. Brazilian Samsung materials have described TV Plus availability on Smart TVs from 2017 onward, but that does not guarantee that every model or software configuration carries every listed channel.
4. Check ge.globo
Globo’s launch announcement identified the ge.globo portal as another access point for GE TV. GE’s editorial event pages may also identify GE TV alongside other broadcasters such as Globo and sportv.
If you are trying to find one specific fixture, start with the event page on ge.globo and look for its “where to watch” or broadcaster information. This is more reliable than treating GE TV as a universal home for all of Globo’s sports rights.
5. Watch through Claro
Claro’s current football guide lists GE TV on channel 536. A published Claro TV+ Box channel-terms document also lists GE TV HD at channel 536.
That number should be treated as a current listing, not a guarantee that every Claro customer receives the channel. Claro offers different products and packages, and channel availability can vary according to location, service type, and eligibility. If channel 536 does not appear, use Claro’s current guide or customer support to check your specific service.
What programming does GE TV carry?
Globo describes GE TV as a digital, multiplatform sports channel rather than a traditional nationwide broadcast channel. Its format combines:
Rank #2
- Enjoy More Tv antenna for Local Channels: Get more channels by antenna for smart TV, receive local broadcasting, ABC, CBS, NBC, CPS, FOX, CW, ION, UMAS, etc.
- HD Antenna for TV: Our digital TV antenna indoor adopts an upgraded Smart IC Chip, receives TV broadcasts including 4K, UHD and 1080 HDTV for the hd picture.
- 16FT Coax Cable: Coaxial cable is composed of a solid center conductor, dielectric insulation, three aluminum shielding layers, and a durable outer layer. so that you will never lose signal or suffer distortion even in bad weather.
- Compatibility and Usage Tips: Not suitable for older analog televisions; supports smart TVs and digital TVs. For optimal signal reception, try placing the antenna near a window or in other locations, and test both vertical and horizontal orientations.
- Easy to Install: Plug the coaxial cable from your digital indoor HDTV antenna into the ANT/IN connector on the back of your TV, point the TV antenna toward your local TV tower and scan for channels. (Check "dtv gov maps" for available channels).

The launch announcement identified football coverage involving the Libertadores, Brasileirão Série A, Copa do Brasil, Supercopa do Brasil, Brazil’s men’s and women’s national teams, and Brazil’s top women’s division. It also named sports such as the NFL, Volleyball Nations League, WSL, and SLS.
Those categories describe the announced scope of the channel, not a promise that every event in each competition will appear on every GE TV outlet. Rights can be split by match, territory, platform, and distribution agreement. The individual event listing remains the final check.
Is GE TV free?
GE TV was announced as a free digital channel. In practical terms, start with the free routes: Globoplay’s GE TV listing, the official YouTube channel, Samsung TV Plus, and the ge.globo portal.
Do not assume that “free GE TV” makes all Globo sports content free. A match may instead be assigned to a paid channel or product such as sportv or Premiere, or may be available only on a particular platform. Registration, device compatibility, regional restrictions, and the terms of a specific service can also affect access.
Watching GE TV on a Smart TV or older television
A relatively recent Smart TV may provide native access through Globoplay or Samsung TV Plus, depending on the model and market. Globo also documents Globoplay installation on Android TV, Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV Stick, and selected Claro hardware.
If your television does not support a compatible native app, an optional Amazon Fire TV Stick for Globoplay can provide a way to use Globoplay on a television that supports the device. It is an access device, not a GE TV subscription: buying one does not override geographic restrictions, content rights, or the requirements of a specific stream.
Globo announced that GE TV would also become available on LG and TCL television platforms in September 2025. That announcement establishes the intended distribution, but it does not provide a current model-by-model compatibility list. On an LG or TCL television, search the available apps or live-TV platform for GE TV and confirm the result in the current guide.
Can viewers in the United States watch GE TV?
There is no official confirmation in the available research of full U.S. linear-channel distribution for GE TV. Globoplay’s U.S. help information describes Brazilian series, originals, Globo programming, and selected live channels including Globo Internacional, GloboNews, Premiere, sportv, GNT, Multishow, and Viva; GE TV is not included in that channel description.
That does not prove that every GE TV video is unavailable in the United States. A U.S.-based viewer should:
- Check the verified ge tv YouTube channel.
- Look for the specific match or event and confirm whether its stream is viewable in the United States.
- Check the event’s listing rather than relying on the channel name alone.
A Brazilian Globoplay subscription should not be treated as a guarantee of access abroad. Availability is determined by the service, territory, and rights for the particular content. Using a VPN to bypass those restrictions is not a reliable or officially confirmed solution and is not recommended as the basis for a viewing guide.

The fastest way to find a particular match
- Search the event first. Use the match or competition name on ge.globo or Globo’s current sports listings.
- Read the broadcaster information. Look for GE TV, Globo, sportv, Premiere, YouTube, or another named outlet.
- Try the free GE TV routes. Check Globoplay, the verified YouTube channel, Samsung TV Plus, and ge.globo.

- Verify the start time and territory. A scheduled stream may be region-limited or may move between platforms according to the rights arrangement.
Common reasons GE TV is hard to find
The channel is not in the app
Confirm that you are using the Brazilian version of the service where applicable, update the app, and search the live-channel area rather than the on-demand catalog. Platform catalogs can change without changing the channel’s overall brand.

The match is not on YouTube
GE TV’s YouTube presence is not a guarantee of universal event coverage. Check the official event listing; the match may belong to Globo, sportv, Premiere, Claro, or another outlet.
Channel 536 is missing on Claro
Claro’s listing identifies GE TV at 536, but package and regional differences apply. Check the current guide for your exact Claro service instead of assuming that the same channel list applies to every customer.
GE TV appears on one device but not another
Native app support and content availability are separate questions. A device may support Globoplay while a particular live channel is unavailable in its market or on that platform. Try an officially supported device or browser route, then confirm the event’s geographic availability.

What channel is GE TV on Claro?
Current Claro football listings and a Claro TV+ Box terms document identify GE TV, or GE TV HD, as channel 536. Package, product, and regional eligibility can vary.
Do I need a paid Globoplay subscription for GE TV?
GE TV was announced as a free digital channel, so a paid Globoplay plan should not automatically be assumed to be required. Other Globoplay channels and sports products may require separate paid access.
Is GE TV available outside Brazil?
The available U.S. Globoplay channel information does not list GE TV, so full U.S. linear-channel distribution is not officially confirmed here. International viewers should check the verified YouTube channel and the specific event listing.

Does GE TV show every Brasileirão or Libertadores match?
No guarantee can be made. Globo’s sports rights are distributed by event and platform, so check the listing for the particular fixture.
The Bottom Line
For viewers in Brazil, check Globoplay first, then the verified ge tv YouTube channel, Samsung TV Plus, ge.globo, or Claro channel 536. GE TV is free in principle, but the broadcaster and platform can change from one event to another. For viewers outside Brazil, especially in the United States, verify the specific stream because full GE TV channel distribution abroad is not officially confirmed.
