Why do sources give different category totals?
The organizer’s February 18 launch announcement listed 13 categories and included Authentic Representation. The April nominee announcement described 12 categories, while its published list contains 10 categories and two entries marked for later revelation. The July winners recap also says 12 categories, and the official 2025 history archive has 12 categories without Authentic Representation. The sources do not explain when or why the category list changed, so the discrepancy cannot be resolved from the published records.
