Spoilers for Gachiakuta season 1, episode 24.
Gachiakuta’s season 1 finale gives Zanka and Remlin a moment of emotional closure, then opens new questions about Rudo, the Watchman Series and Amo. The mural in Canvas Town is linked to a secret about Rudo, while a post-credit scene reportedly shows Amo captive alongside Tamsy. Neither mystery is fully explained by the available official synopsis.
What happens at the end of Gachiakuta episode 24?
Episode 24, titled “遠足” (“Field Trip”), begins after the previous conflict. Zanka has survived and is recovering from a serious injury. Remlin visits to apologize: his prank affected Zanka’s protective charm. Rudo makes an awkward effort to encourage Remlin, giving the episode a personal, quieter beat before its larger revelations.

Rudo and the others then travel to Canvas Town. Avex Pictures’ official episode announcement places a mural discovery at the center of the trip, connecting the mural to the Watchman Series and a secret about Rudo. The announcement does not explain the secret or resolve the significance of the Watchman items. Avex Pictures’ episode announcement
What is the secret in the mural?
The official synopsis signals that the mural reveals a connection between the Watchman Series and Rudo, but it does not spell out the full revelation. So the safest explanation is that the mural brings Rudo’s history and the Watchman items into the same mystery; it is not, on the evidence of the announcement alone, a complete answer to either one.

Claims about exactly what the mural depicts or how it functions go beyond what the official summary establishes. The ending is designed to make the connection matter going forward, rather than provide a fully explained solution in this episode.
Who is with Amo in the post-credit scene?
Viewer discussions identify the figure alongside Amo as Tamsy, a Cleaner, and describe Amo as captive. The scene makes her situation newly urgent and places Tamsy under suspicion, but it does not establish his motive, allegiance or what happens next. The post-credit image is a cliffhanger, not a confirmed explanation of Amo’s fate.

Why does the finale leave these questions open?
The episode closes one immediate emotional thread while widening the season’s central mysteries. Zanka’s recovery and Remlin’s apology provide a moment of aftermath; the Canvas Town mural points toward Rudo and the Watchman Series; the post-credit scene shifts attention to Amo. Together, the beats make the finale a transition into unresolved storylines rather than a definitive resolution of the larger conflict.
