It said she had publicly expressed support for Israel and then received hostile responses. The outlet reproduced one threatening comment that Epstein had shared with her followers. That is evidence that a threat was reported, not independent confirmation of who sent it or what they intended.
Epstein’s response
PerthNow quoted Epstein’s Instagram response: “As someone who lost 32 family members in the holocaust, I simply have no words. It’s truly terrifying that people feel comfortable enough to leave a public comment like this.” The reference to 32 family members is Epstein’s personal statement as quoted by the outlet, not a population statistic or independently verified figure.
What remains unconfirmed
The PerthNow article does not establish how many threatening messages Epstein received, whether anyone assessed the displayed comment as credible, whether police or other authorities became involved, who sent the message, or what happened afterward. No conclusion about those points can be drawn from the report alone.
