Windey’s April 2025 look was described by Us Weekly as a see-through, bodycon minidress with a mock neckline, long sleeves and a ruffled miniskirt. She paired it with a veil, white pointed-toe heels and pearl earrings. The outfit’s sheer fabric drew attention, but the report does not establish the exact dress designer or model.
When did Windey and Hoffman get married?
First ceremony: Las Vegas, January 11, 2025
The couple’s first ceremony took place in Las Vegas on January 11, 2025, and they announced the marriage publicly on March 5. ABC News reported Windey’s Instagram caption, “Husband and wife!!” and Hoffman’s, “Ya boy off the market for life I love my wife!!!!”
Legal ceremony: announced in April
Windey announced on April 15 that she and Hoffman had legally married, sharing the caption “I do thee legally wed!!,” according to Us Weekly. The sheer minidress described above belongs to this later legal-wedding coverage; it should not be confused with what she wore at the Las Vegas ceremony.

Why did they have a Las Vegas wedding?
The first ceremony followed the couple’s evacuation from their Los Angeles home during the January 2025 fires. According to The Knot, they looked for hotel availability in Palm Springs and Las Vegas, then found a Las Vegas suite that Hoffman said looked like a wedding suite. Hoffman proposed with a crossword spelling “WILL YOU MARRY ME, GABBY”; the couple used the following day to find outfits, rings and a chapel. The ceremony lasted about 15 minutes, and they had to repeat their vows, The Knot reported.
Windey explained the decision to marry amid the upheaval in an interview with Cosmopolitan: “What better time to get married than right now? Because if the world is ending, we want to be with each other.” Cosmopolitan reported the couple’s account.

What did Windey wear at the first ceremony?
The Las Vegas outfit was not the later sheer minidress. The Los Angeles Times reported Windey’s account that the first dress she saw was off-white lace and the only one in stock. “I went into department stores and the first dress I saw on the mannequin was off-white lace, and I was like, ‘This is gonna be it,’” she told the newspaper via the Cosmopolitan interview.
The Los Angeles Times also reported that the couple said their Las Vegas wedding cost $799 all-in. That figure is their reported cost for that event, not a general estimate of wedding expenses.
