By September 2024, The Bachelorette alum Gabby Windey and comedian Robby Hoffman had moved in together. Windey told PEOPLE that she had initially worried about losing her alone time, but came to feel that home was being with Hoffman. They later married in January 2025.
What Gabby Windey said about living with Robby Hoffman
In PEOPLE’s September 19, 2024 interview, Windey described moving in as a change that brought more everyday closeness, not a loss of independence. “I was so nervous not to have alone time, but my home is with her,” she said.
She valued being together without having to focus on the same activity. “Being together in the same room, doing your other stuff, it’s like you’re not alone, but you’re quiet with each other,” Windey explained. She called that shared quiet “a high level of intimacy” and said, “We’re really good at just appreciating each other.”
Windey also framed living together as a way to know each other more deeply: “It’s been really great because now it’s a deeper level of knowing someone, which I think is the real gift.” She described noticing changes in each other’s moods and talkativeness, and joked in the interview about having their periods at the same time.

The couple’s everyday routine
PEOPLE’s account focused on ordinary rituals: Windey and Hoffman did The New York Times’ Crossword, Wordle, and Connections together in the morning, went grocery shopping, and relaxed on the couch with snacks. Windey said she tried to tidy the home before Hoffman came back from a comedy gig.
The interview also named their preferred snacks: Flamin’ Hot Doritos for Windey and Flamin’ Hot Funyuns for Hoffman. Windey’s mention of Flamin’ Hot appeared in the context of a back-to-school promotion she had partnered on; it does not establish an ongoing partnership.
