Available descriptions identify its central characters as twin high-school students Ruri and Midori Ariya and their classics teacher, Kaoru Usami. A reliable chapter-by-chapter account of chapter 1, however, is not established by the available listings, so its specific scenes should not be inferred from the series synopsis.
What is Futago to Sensei?
Futago to Sensei (双子と先生) is a manga by Kakinotane, also catalogued under the romanizations “kakinotane” and “Tane Kakino.” Its collected edition is associated with Ichijinsha’s gateau Comics imprint. Secondary catalogues classify it as boys’ love/yaoi.
The broad premise centers on the Ariya twins, Ruri and Midori, and Kaoru Usami, their classics teacher. A 2025 event report and a specialist audio-drama listing describe a three-person relationship arising after Usami sees the twins in a particular situation. Those synopses establish the general setup, not the sequence of events in chapter 1.
What happens in chapter 1?
The sources available for this title do not provide a dependable chapter 1 recap or confirm its exact scenes. The broader synopsis should not be treated as a chapter summary: it does not show when the relationship develops or what chapter 1 specifically contains.

The premise includes a teacher–student power dynamic and adult relationship themes. That is a description of the story, not an endorsement of such a relationship in real life. No publisher-issued age rating was established in the listings used here.

The listings establish Japanese-language collected volumes, but they do not confirm an authorized English edition or a current official chapter 1 page. They also do not establish current stock or availability in any particular region. Check the publisher or a local bookseller’s current catalogue for edition language and availability; do not assume that a chapter-number search result is an official translation.
