Actor Ricky He reportedly described From Season 4 filming as being in its “final lap” in October 2025—a sign production was nearing completion, not confirmation that it had wrapped. The season has since premiered: MGM+ debuted it in the United States on April 19, 2026, and the series has been renewed for a fifth and final season expected in 2027.
What Ricky He’s “final lap” update meant
An October 2025 report attributed the phrase “Final lap Season 4 — tomato soup is back” to an Instagram caption by Ricky He, who plays Kenny Liu. The report also said Catalina Sandino Moreno expected filming to wrap in November. That was a forecast, not proof of a completed shoot; the reported “final lap” indicated production was approaching its end. Collider report reproduced by a syndicator

The date is now a past premiere, not an upcoming release. At the season’s renewal in November 2024, MGM+ had announced a 10-episode order, production expected to return to Nova Scotia in 2025, and a 2026 release expectation. Those were plans announced at the time; the later listing establishes the premiere date. TheWrap on the Season 4 renewal

What Season 4 is about
Paramount Global Content describes the series as a story about a nightmarish town that traps everyone who enters. Its official Season 4 synopsis says the residents’ search for answers becomes more terrifying as they get closer to them. The listing frames the season around unanswered questions, including the Man in Yellow’s identity and motives, whether Jade and Tabitha’s revelation will prove pivotal, and how long Boyd can hold the town together as his body and mind deteriorate. These are questions posed by the official synopsis, not confirmed outcomes. Paramount Global Content’s Season 4 synopsis

From has a fifth and final season ahead
On April 15, 2026, MGM+ announced that From had been renewed for a fifth and final season. Production was planned for Halifax later in 2026, with a 2027 premiere expectation. The announcement called From MGM+’s “most-viewed series in MGM+ history,” but gave no audience total or measurement method, so that characterization remains the network’s own.
