The album’s rollout began in April 2024, and the full catalog listing followed later that year. Its timing makes more sense against Fresno’s earlier mainstream success, independent years, and subsequent resurgence.

Why was its release called a career high point?
Billboard Brasil’s April 2024 retrospective placed the album in a second strong phase for Fresno, a band then marking 25 years of career. That framing is a contemporary assessment, not an independently measured ranking: the sources do not establish an album-specific sales total, chart position, or statistical career peak.
#1 Best Overall
The group had an earlier mainstream period, including MTV video rotation and major-label albums Redenção (2008) and Revanche (2010). It then released independent-era albums Infinito (2012), Eu Sou a Maré Viva (2014), and A Sinfonia de Tudo Que Há (2016). Billboard Brasil connected a later resurgence to Vou Ter Que Me Virar (2021), festival appearances such as Lollapalooza Brasil in 2022, and a larger live schedule. Its account is useful context for why the 2024 moment was described as another ascent rather than an isolated comeback.
Drummer Thiago Guerra told Billboard Brasil that greater life experience had helped the band filter what it wanted, adding that the group was focused and making the most of its peak. The peak language is his characterization of the band’s moment, not a claim that one period can be objectively ranked above every other.

How did Fresno describe the album’s place in its story?
In a 2025 Moodgate interview, vocalist and guitarist Lucas Silveira described an audience with a particularly committed contingent eager to hear new material. He said the band felt its story was still being told and that each album could bring in new listeners. He also contrasted discovery through human-curated blogs and sites with streaming-era algorithmic discovery, which, in his account, made album launches more diffuse. His remarks explain the band’s perspective on promoting new work; they are not a measured account of fan behavior across the industry.
Silveira summed up the decision to keep releasing music by saying, “Então, a gente segue lançando, e Eu Nunca Fui Embora foi isso.”

What physical edition was released?
Noize Record Club documented a collector edition made with its label: a white marbled LP in a gatefold sleeve with an outer band, accompanied by a fanzine, embroidered patch, poster, and postcard. Its June 2025 article said the kit was then available for individual purchase. That is a dated availability statement, not confirmation of current stock or price. Check the seller’s current listing before buying; the cited information does not verify a present-day Amazon listing.
