Find free Happy New Year 2025 images in the matching search collections on Unsplash, Pexels, and Pixabay. Before downloading, open the individual image page to confirm it is free rather than premium, then check the platform license and any visible people, logos, brands, or property against the way you plan to use it.
Where to find Happy New Year 2025 images
All three libraries have search collections matching the greeting, but search results can change and a collection page does not establish the terms for every image in it.
- Unsplash: 2025 Happy New Year pictures includes photos and illustrations. Some listings are labeled Unsplash+, so check the selected image’s page for its availability.
- Pexels: Happy New Year 2025 images has a matching collection. Review the details on the individual result page.
- Pixabay: Happy New Year 2025 images has a dedicated search collection. Its displayed asset counts vary, so treat them as live results rather than fixed totals.
How to choose and download an image
- Search the library for “Happy New Year 2025” or “2025 happy new year.”
- Open the image’s own page. Confirm that the selected item is available free, not marked as premium or otherwise requiring payment.
- Read the license and any image-specific details. A library’s general license is not a guarantee that every asset is cleared for every use.
- Inspect the image for recognizable people, logos, brands, artwork, or private property, and consider your intended context: personal greeting, social post, editorial page, promotion, or print.
- Download the image using the library’s page controls and retain the image-page and license details for your records.
What the free licenses allow—and restrict
The platforms reviewed generally permit free use and editing without required attribution, but each license sets conditions. Check the current official terms before using an image, especially in a commercial context.
| Library | General license terms | Important restrictions or cautions |
|---|---|---|
| Unsplash | Images may be used for commercial and non-commercial purposes without required attribution. The license says, “All images can be downloaded and used for free.” | Do not sell images without significant modification or compile them to replicate a similar or competing service. |
| Pexels | Free use and modification are allowed without required attribution. | Do not sell unaltered copies, redistribute photos on stock or wallpaper platforms, use an image as a trademark, or suggest a depicted person or brand endorses a product. Pexels also advises considering how identifiable people appear in the intended use. |
| Pixabay | The license summary allows free use, modification, and adaptation without required attribution. | Do not distribute or sell content on a standalone basis. Commercial use of images showing recognizable trademarks, logos, or brands in relation to goods and services is restricted; separate rights may also apply. |
Pixabay’s Terms of Service, last updated November 18, 2024, make the license conditional on following prohibited-use rules. They also note that intellectual-property, privacy, or similar rights may require consent or a separate license. Terms can change, so check them at the time you use an image.

Check for rights beyond the image-library license
A platform license covers the platform’s stated permissions for its content; it does not automatically settle every right connected to what the image depicts. A recognizable person, logo, brand, or property may raise separate concerns depending on the use. This matters particularly for promotional materials and merchandise. Do not imply that a person or brand shown in the image supports your message or product.
Attribution is generally not required under the reviewed licenses, but that does not remove other restrictions or clear third-party rights. Follow any image-specific terms and assess the intended use before publishing.

Choose based on the image and your use
There is no single best library for every greeting. Compare the individual image’s free or premium status, how well it suits your message, the license conditions, and any visible third-party elements. For a personal message, a simple greeting image may be straightforward; for an advertisement, product, or printed item for sale, scrutinize identifiable people and brands more carefully.
