Freddy Fazbear came out ahead in a fan poll about a fight with Huggy Wuggy: a March 14, 2025 ScreenRant report said Freddy had 57% of more than 150,000 votes at the time the article was written. That is a dated report of what participating viewers chose—not proof of who would win under defined fight rules.
What did the poll report?
ScreenRant’s Yuliya Geikhman reported on March 14, 2025, that The Game Theorists had asked its YouTube audience who would win in a fight between Freddy Fazbear of Five Nights at Freddy’s and Huggy Wuggy of Poppy Playtime. At the time of writing, Freddy had 57% of more than 150,000 votes, according to the report. Read the ScreenRant report via IMDb.
The figure is an approximate vote count and a historical snapshot. It should not be read as a live total or an independently verified final result: the report does not establish the poll’s exact wording, closure time, or final count.
Does that mean Freddy would win a fight?
No. The result records the preferences of people who voted; it does not settle a fictional matchup objectively. The report does not specify which versions of the characters are being compared, where a fight would happen, what rules apply, or what counts as a win. Without those choices, there is no consistent basis for treating the poll as a rules-based test.
#1 Best Overall
- CLASSIC FREDDY: Get ready for Freddy with Five Nights at Freddy’s Classic Freddy
- GAME INSPIRED: 5-inch figure is based on the titular game character from Five Nights at Freddy’s
- JUMPSCARES: Features over 10 points of articulation and a startling jumpscare feature
- EERIE EYES: Includes eerie glow-in-the-dark eyes
- COLLECT MORE: Get more 5-inch figures and collectibles before they get you
Fans could reach different conclusions if they first agreed on the characters’ versions and the conditions of the encounter. Those assumptions would shape any comparison, but the reported poll does not supply them. It supports one narrower conclusion: Freddy was the voters’ pick in the snapshot ScreenRant described.
