En una entrevista con People en Español, la presentadora de Despierta América describió la noticia como una sorpresa y dijo que esa criatura sería el “grande finale” de la familia que habían planeado.
Una noticia que llegó antes de lo esperado
Francisca ya era madre de Gennaro y Franco cuando supo que esperaba otro bebé. Contó a People en Español que la pareja quería tener tres hijos, aunque el embarazo llegó antes de lo que ella imaginaba. Francesco dijo que siempre había querido una familia grande y que ambos habían hablado de tener tres.
“Estoy viviendo un sueño”, dijo Francisca al hablar de la familia que había formado. También expresó que se sentía realizada y feliz. Sobre la decisión de no buscar más hijos, afirmó: “Este es la grande finale para nosotros, ya no vamos a tener más, a menos que Dios diga otra cosa”.
Lo que contó sobre las primeras semanas
En el relato publicado el 31 de enero de 2025, Francisca dijo que se hizo una prueba de embarazo en casa después de que no le llegara la regla en noviembre. Más adelante, contó que tuvo escalofríos, cólicos intensos, dolor de espalda y sangrado, y que temió haber perdido el embarazo.

Según su recuerdo, un sonograma mostró que tenía alrededor de cinco semanas de embarazo. El médico les indicó que esperaran hasta la semana siguiente para escuchar el latido. Esa secuencia es el testimonio personal de Francisca en la entrevista; no constituye orientación médica ni permite sacar conclusiones generales sobre síntomas o embarazos.
Cuatro meses de embarazo y síntomas que describió
En la entrevista, Francisca dijo que tenía cuatro meses de embarazo y que esperaba al bebé en julio de 2025. Esa fecha era una previsión hecha entonces, no una noticia actual sobre un embarazo en curso. Describió náuseas sin vómitos, más hambre y mucho sueño.

Francisca contó que esperaba una niña, pero trataba de no hacerse ilusiones. Dijo que en la familia de su esposo todos eran varones, que los nietos del lado de su madre también eran varones y que con Franco había pensado que tendría una niña, pero nació un niño.
