Yes. Marty McFly was reported as a Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 Battle Pass character before launch, and Epic confirmed him in the Pass when the season began on November 29, 2025. That Pass is no longer available to buy or progress.
Is Marty McFly in the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 Battle Pass?
Yes. Epic’s November 29, 2025 v39.00 update notes for Chapter Seven: Pacific Break say players could “rep the future as Marty McFly” in the new Battle Pass. The launch announcement also named The Bride and Fortnite-original characters among the Pass content.

What did the pre-launch leak say?
On November 20, 2025, Josh Challies reported for Insider Gaming that leakers, including ShiinaBR, expected Marty McFly to appear in the Battle Pass. The report described a look inspired by the original films, including high-top trainers, sunglasses and an orange gilet. Those details were the leakers’ pre-launch account, not a separate description confirmed by Epic.
The chronology matters: the November 20 story was a leak report, not an official announcement. Epic confirmed Marty’s inclusion nine days later in its launch notes.

Who else was in the Chapter 7 Season 1 Pass?
The Bride was another Battle Pass character. In a separate November 30, 2025 announcement, Epic said The Bride was inspired by Kill Bill and promoted the Fortnite premiere of The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge. That post provides context for the season’s other film collaboration; Epic’s v39.00 notes are the source confirming Marty McFly.
Can you still buy the Chapter 7 Season 1 Battle Pass?
No. Epic Games Support says that Passes for seasons that have ended cannot be purchased or progressed. It adds that some Pass items might be offered in the Item Shop later, but a particular item is not guaranteed to return. There is no confirmed future availability for Marty McFly based on that policy. See Epic’s Battle Pass support guidance for the policy.

Why this is now a retrospective story
Chapter 7 Season 1 is a past season, not an upcoming Pass. Epic announced Chapter 7 Season 4: Override on August 20, 2026, naming Sonic the Hedgehog as that season’s Battle Pass headliner. Epic’s news listings also show later 2026 updates. The original “coming soon” framing from the leak period no longer describes the game’s current season.
