Some former Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC) cast members have returned to the show, while others have pursued businesses, media work, or life away from the cameras. The clearest current example is Vicki Gunvalson: after leaving the full-time cast following Season 14, she returned as a full-time Housewife for Season 20, which premiered July 9, 2026. Here’s what the available dated reporting establishes about notable alumni—and where cast roles have changed.
Why “former” depends on the season
RHOC premiered on March 21, 2006, and cast status has shifted over its 20 seasons. Bravo’s Vicki Gunvalson timeline identifies her as one of the original five Housewives. She appeared in every season through Season 14, became a “Friend” in Season 14 after 13 full-time seasons, announced her departure in 2020, and later made guest appearances before returning full time for Season 20. Bravo says she announced that return at BravoCon 2025.
Season 20 premiered on Bravo on July 9, 2026. Peacock’s Season 20 listing names Vicki Gunvalson, Shannon Storms Beador, Heather Dubrow, Tamra Judge, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, Jennifer Pedranti, and Carmella Garcia as cast members. It says Katie Ginella and Gretchen Rossi are not returning for that season. These are Season 20 facts, not a permanent roster.
What former RHOC stars are doing
The updates below distinguish documented show roles from career or personal-life details. Where the source is dated, the date matters: a past report should not be read as confirmation of someone’s present-day circumstances.

Those details describe what the roundup reported by its update date; it does not establish her current job or relationship status.
Gretchen Rossi
Gretchen left ahead of Season 9 and made a cameo in Season 12, according to the same Us Weekly roundup. It also reports that she focused on motherhood and her handbag business, then returned as a “Friend” for Season 19. Peacock’s Season 20 listing does not include her among that season’s cast.

Vicki Gunvalson
Vicki’s path is a reminder that leaving the full-time cast does not always mean a permanent exit. In addition to her Season 20 return, Bravo’s career overview, updated July 7, 2026, describes her as an entrepreneur, CEO of Coto Insurance, and podcast host.
Tamra Judge
Bravo’s July 2026 career overview says Tamra co-hosts the Two Ts in a Pod podcast, founded Vena CBD, and returned to real estate in 2023. Bravo’s current Season 20 career coverage includes her; she is not a former cast member for that season.

- 1. Part Number: A-AKB75375604 2. This remote is in new condition. 3. Lg 70UK6570PUB 4. Compatible with All LG TV models
For example, the roundup reports that Alexis Bellino said she would not return for Season 19 after appearing in Season 18. That is a dated Season 19 update, not evidence about later casting. Likewise, a past business, family, or relationship update should not be presented as current without newer confirmation.
