Williams played drums for the band, including on releases such as Plagues, according to the contemporaneous reporting. The NTSB report gives the crash’s overall casualty count; the identification of Williams comes from the family and band reporting, not from that report.

Has the cause of the crash been determined?
Not in the NTSB material cited here. The report is explicitly preliminary, and the reviewed sources do not establish a final probable-cause finding. The NTSB’s investigation docket lists investigation materials.
A June 2025 account of preliminary investigative material reported that the aircraft struck power lines while approaching at low altitude and that runway alignment lighting was unavailable. Those are reported preliminary circumstances, not a final NTSB cause determination. They do not establish why the crash occurred.
