If a YouTube gaming replay keeps disconnecting on JioFiber, first find out whether the interruption follows YouTube, one device, Wi-Fi, or the connection itself. Try the same video on another device and another connection, lower playback quality, then run MyJio diagnostics. These checks narrow the cause; a disconnect alone does not prove JioFiber is at fault.
“Replay stream” can mean a viewer watching a gaming stream’s replay or a creator’s outgoing livestream. The steps below focus on playback, because that is where the available YouTube and Jio guidance applies. If your own broadcast is dropping, see the note near the end.
Why does my YouTube gaming replay keep disconnecting on JioFiber?
The interruption could involve the YouTube app or video, the playback device, Wi-Fi between that device and the router, or the internet service path. A useful first pass is to compare one factor at a time rather than changing router settings at random.
- If YouTube alone stops while other apps work, investigate the app, video, device, or YouTube connection path first.
- If several apps or services fail on multiple devices, a home-network or service-path problem becomes more plausible.
- If playback is stable on Ethernet but not Wi-Fi, focus on local wireless coverage or interference.
- If the same video works on another connection, that comparison narrows the investigation but does not prove JioFiber is the cause.
YouTube notes that network congestion and other factors can cause live-programming issues and delay a stream. Its guidance does not identify a Jio-specific fault or guarantee that any one fix will stop disconnects. YouTube Help: troubleshoot streaming and playback issues

Work through these checks in order
1. Establish what is affected
- Try another site or streaming app on the same device. Note whether it also stalls or disconnects.
- Play the same YouTube replay on another device using the same JioFiber connection.
- Where practical, replay it using mobile data or another available internet connection. Mobile data charges may apply.
Keep track of which comparisons work. Changing several things at once makes it harder to tell what helped.
2. Check YouTube playback and the device
- Manually select a lower playback quality in the YouTube player. If that improves stability, the connection may be struggling to sustain the selected quality, but this is not a diagnosis by itself.
- On supported devices, clear the YouTube app cache. Then close and reopen the app.
- Restart the playback device and check for available app or system updates.
- Try the video on another device to see whether the issue follows the original device.

3. If you are watching on a TV, check the connection beside it
YouTube recommends at least 7 Mbps for HD playback on a TV. That is its stated connection-speed recommendation, not a guarantee that a gaming replay will remain uninterrupted. Check speed near the TV, not only beside the router, and try lowering the player’s quality manually.

- Move the TV or streaming device within better router range if possible.
- Reduce nearby interference and pause heavy network use on other devices as a test.
- Compare playback at the TV with playback on a device closer to the router.
YouTube’s TV playback guidance recommends checking speed near the playback device, reducing interference, and minimizing competing network use.
4. Run JioFiber diagnostics in MyJio
Open MyJio and look under Home for JioCare or Run Diagnostics. Labels can vary in the current app, so follow the prompts shown on your account. Jio says its checks cover connection health, router status, Wi-Fi strength, and device connectivity, then provide guided troubleshooting. The diagnostic flow also offers a route to raise a complaint or service request if the issue remains.

5. Restart the gateway and test Wi-Fi conditions
Jio’s Fiber guide recommends restarting the Jio Home Gateway for internet issues. If Wi-Fi is slow, test closer to the router. The guide describes 5 GHz as a speed-oriented band and 2.4 GHz as offering better coverage; which works best depends on distance, obstacles, and the device. If a VPN is in use, disconnecting it briefly can be a diagnostic test in certain connection cases—not a general recommendation to leave privacy tools disabled.

Jio recommends Ethernet for laptops and streaming devices and names CAT6 cable as an option. Connect a suitable cable to a compatible port; some devices may require an adapter. Make sure the cable reaches comfortably without creating a trip hazard.

If playback is steady over Ethernet but unreliable over Wi-Fi, investigate local signal strength or interference. Ethernet will not fix a confirmed upstream service interruption or a YouTube-side problem. Jio’s Fiber guide

If MyJio diagnostics do not resolve the issue, use the app to raise a service request; Jio says an engineer visit can be arranged. Provide observations that help distinguish a home Wi-Fi issue from a broader connection problem:
- Approximate time and date of each interruption.
- The exact on-screen error, if one appeared.
- Which devices were affected, and whether other apps or sites failed.
- Whether playback was stable on Ethernet, on Wi-Fi near the router, or through another internet connection.
- Any relevant results from MyJio diagnostics.
Do not post account credentials or other private account details publicly. The symptom alone does not establish a Jio outage, routing issue, or other Jio-specific fault.

If you meant your own gaming livestream is disconnecting
The steps above address watching a YouTube replay. The available platform and Jio guidance does not establish a JioFiber-specific creator encoder fault, so do not assume the viewer-side fixes will resolve an outgoing broadcast. Record the time of the drop, the device and broadcasting setup involved, any visible YouTube error, and whether other internet services failed; then use MyJio diagnostics and Jio support to check the connection.

What not to assume
The official guidance supports playback checks, MyJio diagnostics, and testing wired versus wireless connections. It does not confirm a current Jio-specific YouTube outage, a general Jio routing or NAT defect, or a guaranteed fix. Avoid making advanced DNS, IPv6, port-forwarding, or router-security changes on the basis of this symptom alone.
