Bonnie Blue and Annie Knight’s reported Fiji visit was a November 2024 news story, not a newly verified arrival. On 19 November, FBC News said police were checking claims that the pair were in Fiji. The next day, Fiji outlets reported that immigration authorities had declared them prohibited immigrants and that they had left the country. Fiji’s immigration minister said the action was prompted by their stated plans to make adult content.

What happened in Fiji?

The reporting unfolded over two days, and the distinction between an inquiry and later immigration action matters.

  1. 19 November 2024: FBC News reported that police were verifying claims by Blue and Knight that they were in Fiji. Assistant Commissioner of Police Mesake Waqa said the Crime Intelligence and Cybercrime Unit had been directed to check the issue. At that point, the report described an inquiry, not a confirmed finding about the pair’s activities. FBC News
  2. 20 November 2024: FijiVillage reported that the pair had left after Home Affairs and Immigration Minister Pio Tikoduadua declared them prohibited immigrants. The outlet also reported that a cameraman was to be deported. FijiVillage
  3. 20 November 2024: The Fiji Times reported that Tikoduadua confirmed Blue and Knight’s deportation from a hotel in Nadi. It said the minister’s explanation concerned their stated intention to produce adult content in Fiji. The Fiji Times

Tikoduadua was quoted by The Fiji Times as saying: “Their intentions are illegal under the law which is why we are taking these actions.” That is the minister’s reported characterization of the legal basis for the action; the article does not report a court judgment or conviction.

What “despite Aus ban” means—and what it does not establish

Contemporary Fiji coverage said Blue’s Australian visitor visa had been cancelled or rescinded after she spoke about going to the Gold Coast for Schoolies and doing paid work. FBC News and FijiVillage attributed that explanation to the reporting surrounding the planned visit. FijiVillage

The reports do not provide an Australian government decision record, the precise legal instrument or its full terms, or evidence that any restriction remains in force today. They describe an Australian visitor-visa action involving Blue; they do not establish that Knight faced the same action, or that either woman was deported from Australia. The Australian visa story and Fiji’s separate immigration action should not be conflated.

Why Fiji was linked to Schoolies

Schoolies Week is an annual post-exam holiday for Australian high-school graduates, generally in late November and early December, according to FijiVillage. The Fiji Times noted that Fiji has long drawn Australian school-leavers, especially to resorts in the Mamanucas. That context helps explain the attention around reports that Blue and Knight were in Fiji during the Schoolies period; it does not show that they met or filmed with a school-leaver, or that any attendee was harmed. What the reports leave unresolved

The Fiji stories establish what police and the minister were reported to have said at the time, but they do not establish a later prosecution or court outcome. They also do not establish either creator’s current Australian entry status. Claims about a present-day arrival or continuing ban cannot be inferred from this November 2024 coverage.
