The Australian 2021 season of Farmer Wants A Wife began on Channel 7 on 4 July, introducing five farmers: Matt, Andrew, Sam, Will and Rob. In the premiere, they met prospective partners through speed dates and selected women to join them on their farms in the next episode.
Who are the five farmers on Farmer Wants A Wife 2021?
The farmers were introduced with their ages as reported for the 2021 season, their home regions and the kinds of farms they worked. Those details are useful identifiers, not a measure of who would make the best match.

The ages above describe the cast when the season aired; they are not current ages. The cast announcement quoted Matt describing his connection to his property: “This farm, it’s my world. It’s my baby.” It also quoted Andrew saying, “I’m a glass-half-full type of guy. I like to be optimistic about life. I enjoy a good chat and plenty of laughs.” TV Blackbox’s 2021 report of the Channel 7 cast announcement carried both quotes.
What happened in episode 1?
The premiere introduced the farmers and their prospective partners through first meetings and speed dates. At the end of the selection process, each farmer chose five women to continue to the farm visits planned for episode two. PerthNow’s premiere recap describes the selections.

A separate recap reports that one selected woman received a 24-hour head start before the other women arrived at a farm. That detail adds a staggered arrival to the next stage; the premiere’s central setup was the introductions and the choices that sent the selected women onward. Now To Love’s episode recap describes the head start.
