Angela left the Australian edition of Farmer Wants a Wife after deciding she did not want to live on a farm surrounded by animals. In a report published by PerthNow on 24 April 2024, she said the experience helped her work out what was right for her.
Why did Angela leave Farmer Wants a Wife?
PerthNow reported that Angela, a new arrival on the Australian show, spent an episode reacting negatively to mud, dirt, animals and the rural setting. She told the crew she preferred city life and said she thought she needed to leave. Farmer Tom was understanding, according to the report.

Angela put her decision this way: “So what’s happened is, I’ve come to the conclusion that I just don’t wanna live on a farm with lots of animals.” PerthNow’s 24 April 2024 report also quoted her saying, “In life, you just have to do these things to see what is truly for you.”
What did the experience help her realise?
Angela’s quoted explanation presents the decision as something she worked out by trying the experience: she concluded that farm life, particularly living with lots of animals, was not for her. The report does not establish additional motives beyond her comments.
