A face reveal means a creator publicly shows their own face or appears as themselves in a way that confirms their physical identity. It should be creator-controlled and documented—not inferred from leaks, resemblance comparisons, or speculation.
- A face reveal: the creator publicly appears as themselves.
- An avatar reveal: the creator introduces or updates a virtual model. That does not establish who is behind it.
- A performer’s name: identifying a voice actor or other performer is not, by itself, a face reveal.
Kson: a documented VTuber who appears as herself
Kson is a clear example of a VTuber who also appears as an IRL creator. In a Weverse Magazine interview, she discussed choosing VTubing partly because she did not want her face shown on screen, while noting that people already knew what she looked like. The interview supports describing her as a creator who has appeared as herself; it does not establish a definitive date for her first face reveal.
This is a documented public appearance, not a reason to treat every online claim about a VTuber’s offline identity as confirmed. The relevant distinction is whether the creator chose to appear publicly as themselves.

Why Gawr Gura’s “2.0” model is not a face reveal
Gawr Gura’s reported “2.0” reveal concerned her virtual model and its expressions, not a verified appearance of her real face. Siliconera’s coverage describes a model update. It does not qualify as evidence of a human face reveal.
Ironmouse is a contrast, not a confirmed reveal
Ironmouse should not be included in a confirmed face-reveal list on the evidence cited here. A Washington Post profile from 20 April 2022 described her as keeping her real identity anonymous. A 2022 profile by The Information described a camera-off interview and limits on what she would disclose. These are accounts from 2022, not proof of her current status; neither documents a face reveal.
