No new Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition launch is scheduled for November 2026. The edition already came out on November 10, 2025, on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. A Nintendo Switch 2 version followed in 2026. As of October 8, 2026, the official Bethesda announcements we checked do not mention a new November 2026 release, so any November reference you see for this edition points back to 2025.
Timeline of the Anniversary Edition release
- October 23, 2025: Bethesda Game Studios announced the edition in a post titled “Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition Announced.” The post gave the digital release date as November 10 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
- November 10, 2025: Bethesda published “Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition Now Available” on Bethesda.net, marking the launch on those five platforms.
- February 24, 2026: Bethesda’s Nintendo Switch 2 notice said the edition was available on that console, with a physical code-in-box version also on sale.
The November date is the one that matters for the headline. Nothing in Bethesda’s official posts from the period we reviewed points to a second November launch in 2026.

What the Anniversary Edition includes
Bethesda describes the main Anniversary Edition as a bundle of three parts: the base game, six official add-on expansions, and more than 150 pieces of Creation Club content. The six add-ons are:
- Automatron
- Far Harbor
- Nuka-World
- Contraptions Workshop
- Vault-Tec Workshop
- Wasteland Workshop
These contents are described in Bethesda’s own launch material, so they reflect the publisher’s account of the product rather than an independent check of each item.

Bethesda says the Creations menu update is not limited to the Anniversary Edition, so players who already own the base game can access it through the update. Check the Bethesda or platform store listing for the current price of each option, since prices are not part of the material we reviewed.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version
The Switch 2 release differs from the other platforms in two ways that affect what you see on screen.
- Creations are built in. Bethesda says the 150+ curated Creation Club items are part of the Switch 2 game itself.
- No Creations menu. Because the content is built in, the Switch 2 version does not include the Creations menu found on other platforms.
On format, Bethesda’s February 24, 2026 post describes the physical release as a code-in-box version: “A physical code-in-box version of Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 is now available.” Read that wording literally when you buy. The Bethesda material we reviewed does not state whether a digital Switch 2 version is sold separately, so check the Nintendo eShop listing before assuming it is.

How to check for a future release
If you see a November 2026 claim, verify it against these sources before acting on it:
- Bethesda Game Studios announcement posts, which carry the original dates for the 2025 launch.
- The Bethesda.net news section for any new edition or platform announcement.
- The store page for your platform (Xbox Store, PlayStation Store, Steam or Nintendo eShop) to confirm current availability and price.
An undated social post or a third-party listing is not enough to establish a new release date.

Anniversary Edition content is available now, so the practical question for most readers is which version to buy, not when it will arrive.
