Remi Cruz and Cal Parsons married on June 14, 2025, at Bella Vista Estate in the Santa Barbara area, in a wedding designed around ocean views, privacy and a late-night celebration. A WedPort wedding feature reports 140 guests, an open-air ceremony, a tented reception and a Korean night market-inspired after-party.
Where did Remi Cruz and Cal Parsons get married?
The couple married at Bella Vista Estate in the Santa Barbara area. In the WedPort wedding feature, Cruz said they had toured more than 85 venues before choosing the estate, which offered privacy, open ocean views and an onsite hangar where guests could continue celebrating late. She also described noise ordinances, location and venue layouts as obstacles at other properties. The couple said Santa Barbara was meaningful to them and that they had imagined marrying by the beach.
The feature reports that Cruz and Parsons first matched on Hinge on June 14, 2019. Parsons proposed in September 2023 in a private home’s garden in Summerland. Wedding planner Jason Rhee of Rheefined Company helped shape the open-air ceremony and tented reception. The invitation suite, created by MadPie Designs, featured an illustration of the estate and specified black tie.
What did the ceremony and wedding looks include?
The ceremony took place on a grassy lawn overlooking the ocean. White flowers and greenery lined a wooden aisle, leading to an 11-foot arch decorated with roses, peonies, hydrangeas and other blooms in white, pale pink and mauve. A live string trio played around the ceremony. Cruz walked with her father to a string arrangement of Ariana Grande’s “Moonlight”; the couple recessed to Clean Bandit’s “Rather Be.” They wrote their own vows.
