O texto reproduzido pela reportagem dizia: “Todos os detalhes serão esclarecidos em tempo oportuno. Desde já, no entanto, reitera que está à disposição das autoridades para quaisquer esclarecimentos. Por fim, seguimos confiando na Justiça e temos a certeza que a verdade logo aparecerá”.

Em cobertura publicada em 31 de outubro de 2023, O Dia informou que, conforme nota do escritório Souza e Rangel, representantes de Ramos haviam apresentado uma notícia-crime no dia anterior e solicitado uma medida protetiva. A reportagem disse que o pedido foi apreciado e deferido no plantão judiciário do Tribunal de Justiça do Estado do Rio de Janeiro.

A nota atribuída à defesa de Ramos enumerou alegações de estelionato sentimental, violência doméstica nas formas física, moral, psicológica e patrimonial, estelionato com falsidade ideológica, furto mediante fraude e perseguição (stalking). O que é possível afirmar sobre o caso
A cobertura contemporânea informa que Ramos, por meio de seus representantes, apresentou uma notícia-crime e pediu proteção; também registra que o pedido foi deferido, segundo a defesa. Isso não estabelece, por si só, culpa ou condenação. A manifestação pública de Vitório, por sua vez, afirmou que ele estava à disposição das autoridades e que os detalhes seriam esclarecidos posteriormente.
