Who is in The Devil Wears Prada 2?
The returning leads
- Meryl Streep reprises Miranda Priestly.
- Anne Hathaway returns as Andy Sachs.
- Emily Blunt reprises Emily Charlton.
- Stanley Tucci returns as Nigel Kipling.
Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman also reprise their roles. The official cast list names new additions Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak and Conrad Ricamora. See the official cast and credits.
Is Lady Gaga in the cast?
The official cast list does not identify Lady Gaga as a cast member. Her confirmed connection is musical and promotional: Disney identifies a “Runway” music video by Lady Gaga and Doechii as a film feature, and its company article says Gaga attended the New York premiere. The available official credits support describing her as connected to the film’s music promotion, not as one of its stars. Disney’s article about Gaga and Doechii covers the music video and premiere.

What is the story about?
Disney’s guide says Andy returns to Miranda’s office 20 years after her earlier time at Runway. The official synopsis is brief, so details beyond that should not be treated as confirmed plot points. Disney+’s film guide gives the short premise.
Director David Frankel described the creative starting point in the studio’s production-notes interview: “The question of how Miranda Priestly would preside over the demise of her empire became fascinating to us.” He framed the film around the decline of print journalism, the fate of Miranda’s media world, career compromises and legacy; that is the director’s explanation of the themes, not a review of the finished film. The official production notes include the interview.
