WWE’s official recap records five matches: Trick Williams and Tony D’Angelo retained their titles, Henley won Jordan’s championship, and Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer beat Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade in a non-title tag match. The ranking below is an editorial assessment, not an official WWE rating.
How this ranking works
Each match is assessed on the same five criteria: pacing and structure, execution and clarity, how well it used its stipulation, crowd and story payoff, and its contribution to ongoing NXT narratives. Stipulation matches have more moving parts than a conventional tag bout, so the question is not simply which match had the most spectacle; it is whether its format served the story and produced a coherent payoff.
Results and described match events below follow WWE’s official results recap. The judgments and placements are my own. WWE’s results page presents the five bouts in an order that does not establish their sequence on the live card, so this ranking is not a claim about match order.

Ranked reviews
1. NXT Women’s North American Championship Gauntlet: Fallon Henley vs. Kelani Jordan
Jordan first eliminated Jazmyn Nyx, then Jacy Jayne, before Henley beat her to take the title. WWE’s recap says Jayne attacked Jordan after their match and that interference later helped Henley win. That sequence gives the gauntlet a useful escalation: Jordan’s earlier victories establish her as a threat, while the interference makes the final change of champion a story-driven turn rather than a simple clean finish.

This ranks first because its format and outcome work together. The gauntlet creates distinct stages and lets Jordan’s progress matter before the title changes hands. Its main limitation, on the account WWE provides, is that the interference complicates the final resolution; it is a strong narrative payoff, not an uncomplicated sporting one. Zaria’s appearance after the title change adds another forward-looking thread.
2. Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer vs. Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade
This non-title tag match had a built-in story problem: Giulia and Vaquer had a history as opponents and needed to function together against Perez and Jade. WWE highlights Giulia’s double-underhook superplex setting up Vaquer’s twisting splash for the win. The finish is the bout’s clearest payoff because it makes the partnership’s coordination decisive.

It places second for the clarity of its central dynamic and a finish that turns uneasy alliance into a practical advantage. It does not have the title stakes or multi-stage structure of the gauntlet, but it offers the most direct team-story resolution on the card. Zaria appeared in the rafters afterward, extending the night’s developing story beyond the result.
3. NXT Championship Devil’s Playground Match: Trick Williams vs. Ethan Page
Williams retained the NXT Championship against Page in the Devil’s Playground match. WWE’s recap describes Page attacking first, a pumpkin spot, weapons and ringside impacts, and an Ego’s Edge through a table before Williams won with Trick Shot. Ridge Holland joined a post-match attack, and Bubba Ray Dudley intervened.

The table spot and Trick Shot give the match a recognizable escalation and finish, while the post-match attack makes the result part of a larger conflict rather than a clean endpoint. It lands third because its strongest elements are spectacle and aftermath; the official account offers less detail about a sustained competitive structure than the top two matches. The finish is clear, but the post-match turn is what gives the bout its wider narrative weight.
4. NXT North American Championship Tables, Ladders and Scares Match: Tony D’Angelo vs. Oba Femi
D’Angelo retained the NXT North American Championship against Femi. WWE’s recap emphasizes involvement by the D’Angelo Family, including interference, and says D’Angelo put Femi through a table to win. That gives the match a decisive visual finish, but the family’s involvement also makes the title change—or, in this case, retention—less about a straightforward one-on-one contest.

The stipulation promises a chaotic contest, and the table finish delivers a clear image to close it. It ranks below Williams–Page because the account centers interference as a major part of the outcome, leaving less evidence of a distinct back-and-forth structure. The result keeps D’Angelo champion, while the means of victory are central to how the match should be judged.
5. Ambulance Match: Ridge Holland vs. Andre Chase
Holland defeated Chase in the Ambulance Match by putting him into the ambulance. WWE describes the fight moving in and around the vehicle, with a fire extinguisher and weapons used along the way. The finish is straightforward and tied directly to the stipulation: the ambulance is not just scenery but the condition for victory.

This ranks fifth not because its stipulation lacks a clear purpose, but because WWE’s recap provides the least indication of a broader in-ring or character payoff beyond the violent brawl and the ambulance finish. It fulfills the match’s basic premise; by comparison, the other bouts offer a more developed team dynamic, title-story turn, or consequential aftermath.

The card produced two successful title defenses and one new champion. Williams kept the NXT Championship, D’Angelo kept the NXT North American Championship, and Henley took Jordan’s NXT Women’s North American Championship. The two remaining results were non-title matches. WWE’s recap also records post-match developments around the Williams–Page and women’s matches, making the event’s story consequences broader than the five winners alone.
WWE announced the event for Sunday, October 27, 2024, at GIANT Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, with a scheduled start of 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT and a U.S. stream on Peacock at that time. The July 15 announcement is event-day context, not evidence about match quality. No attributable attendance, viewership, or official match-rating figure is established by the cited WWE event and results pages.
