This is an editorial ranking, not an official WWE list. It weighs the story and character stakes, memorable match or event connections, how well the pairing worked as a tag act, and the legacy WWE’s own history supports. Reign length provides context, not a quality score.
How many tag team championships did Edge win?
WWE’s official title history records 12 reigns involving Edge: seven with Christian, one with Hollywood Hogan, two with Chris Benoit, one with Randy Orton, and one with Chris Jericho. The championship’s name and lineage presentation changed over time; WWE refers to Edge and Jericho’s 2009 titles as the Unified WWE Tag Team Championships. Dates and durations below follow WWE’s historical record, while the ranking is editorial.
Every Edge tag team title reign, ranked
-
Edge & Christian — October 22–23, 2000 (less than one day)
This transitional reign barely had time to become a distinct title-run story. Its short span puts it at the bottom here, though the date remains a separate reign in WWE’s history and should not be folded into another title change.
-
Edge & Christian — March 19, 2001 (less than one day)
Another near-instant change, with little room for a sustained championship narrative. It is distinct from their April reign, which followed WrestleMania X-Seven.

-
Edge & Hollywood Hogan — July 4–21, 2002 (16 days)
The pairing of Edge with a major star is an intriguing chapter in his tag-team history. The brief run, however, leaves it with less sustained identity as a team reign than the longer or more consequential entries above it.
-
Edge & Chris Jericho — June 28–July 26, 2009 (27 days)
WWE’s retrospective identifies their win at The Bash as a Unified tag-title victory and describes the partnership as short-lived. Edge and Jericho made for an unusual alliance, but Edge’s injury curtailed the run before it could develop into a longer championship chapter.

-
Edge & Chris Benoit — October 19–November 1, 2004 (12 days)
At 12 days in WWE’s listed duration, this is the shortest of Edge’s reigns with a partner other than Christian. It ranks low because the limited span offers little room for a standalone title-run narrative.
-
Edge & Chris Benoit — April 19–May 31, 2004 (41 days)
This earlier Benoit partnership had more time than their later reign, but it remains comparatively brief beside Edge and Christian’s strongest runs. Its placement reflects that narrower championship footprint rather than a claim about match quality.

-
Edge & Christian — December 10–18, 2000 (7 days)
The seven-day reign belongs to the frequent title exchanges between the era’s leading teams. Its brevity keeps it in the lower half, even as it forms part of the broader rivalry period that made Edge and Christian’s tag history distinctive.
-
Edge & Christian — April 1–19, 2001 (17 days)
This was Edge and Christian’s seventh reign. WWE singles out their WrestleMania X-Seven Tables, Ladders & Chairs victory as the moment that made them the first WWE duo to earn seven separate World Tag Team Championship reigns. That milestone gives this short run historical weight well beyond its 17 days.

Mattel WWE Action Figure, Series #138 Edge 6-inch Collectible with 10 Points of Articulation & Life-like Detail- Each WWE action figure is approximately 6 in tall at authentic "Superstar Scale."

-
Edge & Randy Orton — November 13, 2006–January 29, 2007 (76 days)
Rated RKO paired two established characters in a reign long enough to stand apart from Edge’s shorter partnerships. It also bridges his tag-team history and his later singles superstardom. The ranking gives credit to that character pairing and duration without treating length alone as proof of quality.
-
Edge & Christian — December 21, 2000–January 21, 2001 (30 days)
This is a substantial middle chapter in Edge and Christian’s back-and-forth with the division’s leading rivals. It sits below their more defining runs because WWE’s retrospective does not single it out as a landmark moment in the same way it does their first reign and seventh title win.

- Each figure features highly detailed TrueFX technology for life-like authenticity

-
Edge & Christian — April 2–May 29, 2000 (56 days)
Their first championship reign began with the Triangle Ladder Match at WrestleMania 2000. WWE’s biography identifies that victory as the foundation for the team’s landmark TLC contests, making this more than an opening entry in their title ledger: it launched the partnership’s defining championship story.
-
Edge & Christian — June 25–September 24, 2000 (90 days)
This 90-day run ranks first because it sits within the middle of Edge and Christian’s defining rivalry period and gives their partnership more sustained championship presence than the shorter entries. WWE’s historical coverage emphasizes the duo’s seven reigns and landmark ladder and TLC match history, giving this run a strong place in the larger legacy.
What makes Edge and Christian’s reigns stand out?
The central story is not just the number of titles, but how a tag team developed through repeated contests and landmark stipulation matches. WWE’s 2015 feature ties the WrestleMania X-Seven TLC win to the pair’s seventh reign, while WWE’s Edge biography describes the team as winning seven championships together. The first reign at WrestleMania 2000 and the seventh at WrestleMania X-Seven bookend a defining stretch of Edge’s tag-team career.
By contrast, Edge’s other partnerships are notable for their distinct character combinations and periods, but the official historical record supplied here supports dates and durations rather than a detailed match-by-match comparison. The ordering among the shortest entries is especially debatable: a brief reign can still be memorable because of the match or angle that created it. WWE’s records establish the reigns, not an objective entertainment score.
