There is no reliable, comparable public net-worth figure for every current Saturday Night Live cast member. NBCUniversal’s Season 52 announcement on September 16, 2026, names 17 performers; available dollar figures concern estimated salaries for some cast members, not verified personal wealth. Treat online net-worth numbers as estimates unless they are supported by attributable financial disclosures.
Who is in the current SNL cast?
“Current” here means the Season 52 roster announced by NBCUniversal on September 16, 2026—not a permanent cast list. The announcement names 15 returning performers and two new featured players. NBCUniversal said, “Comedians Saidah Belo-Osagie and Grace Reiter join the cast for the upcoming 52nd season.” Read NBCUniversal’s announcement.

The Daily Beast’s September 16 report says Chloe Fineman, Bowen Yang, and Martin Herlihy are not returning for Season 52. The dated NBCUniversal roster is the basis for the list above; later cast changes could alter it. The Daily Beast’s report.
What is the net worth of the current SNL cast?
A complete, well-sourced set of individual net-worth figures for these 17 performers is not established. Net worth means assets minus liabilities; it is not the same as annual income or a television salary. Personal assets, debts, taxes, private contracts, investments, and business interests generally cannot be calculated from a reported paycheck alone. NBCUniversal’s roster announcement does not publish cast members’ personal financial statements.
Celebrity Net Worth’s June 10, 2026 article offers compensation estimates, not a verified net-worth table for the current cast. It estimates that first-year cast members earn $3,000 per episode and that a select top tier earns $25,000 per episode. The article also describes Kenan Thompson’s annual compensation as $2–3 million, including an NBC overall deal, and calls that estimate “almost certain.” These are the publisher’s estimates, not audited salary records or disclosures of personal wealth. Celebrity Net Worth’s compensation estimates.
Those figures should not be assigned to every cast member, used to calculate a personal fortune, or treated as a definitive ranking. Episode counts, contract terms, outside work, expenses, taxes, and other financial details matter—and the cited estimates do not establish a complete picture for each performer.
Why online SNL net-worth rankings can mislead
- They may not identify a reliable source. A number repeated across entertainment sites is not necessarily based on a financial disclosure.
- They can confuse income with wealth. A salary estimate describes pay under stated or inferred conditions; it does not subtract debts or account for accumulated assets.
- They may cover different dates and definitions. Estimates can vary in what they include, such as outside projects or business interests, making a precise cast-wide comparison unsound.
- They can be mistaken for official figures. Neither the Season 52 announcement nor the cited compensation article supplies verified net-worth disclosures for all 17 performers.
For that reason, there is no substantiated basis here to rank every Season 52 cast member from richest to least wealthy. A useful comparison would require attributable estimates with dates and clearly stated methods; those are not available for this full roster.
