Eurovision odds are bookmaker prices for a defined outcome—such as the overall winner or a country qualifying from a semi-final—not official results or guarantees. They can change or disappear, and the rules for settling a bet depend on the bookmaker and market.
What Eurovision odds represent
An odds listing attaches a price to a specific contest outcome. “Who will win?” is an outright-winner market; a semi-final market might instead ask who wins that show or which entries qualify. Top-three, top-five, top-ten, top-fifteen, head-to-head and group markets are other possibilities. The menu and settlement conditions vary by bookmaker, so the market name alone may not tell you every relevant rule. EurovisionWorld’s 2026 odds page lists contest markets and warns that its odds and offers may change or may not be available or accurate.

Why odds are not results
Odds show bookmakers’ prices for outcomes, not what the contest has officially decided. A useful historical example is the closed 2026 odds page: it displayed Finland as the bookmakers’ predicted winner, while the official Eurovision site names Bulgaria as winner of the 70th edition. This is a dated illustration of the distinction between a market snapshot and an official result; it should not be treated as a standalone test of predictive accuracy.
The EurovisionWorld page is closed and will not be updated, so it is historical context rather than a live quote. Its prices or market estimates should not be presented as current odds. More generally, listings can move or become unavailable, and any displayed probability is tied to its particular market and snapshot—not an independently established likelihood of winning.

How to compare odds fairly
A comparison is meaningful only when the prices refer to the same outcome and contest stage, use the same odds format, and were captured at comparable times. Also check that both markets are open and that their settlement rules match. For example, a country that fails to qualify might be settled differently depending on the market’s terms.
- Match the outcome: overall winner is not the same market as semi-final winner or qualification.
- Match the stage and conditions: check whether the selection must qualify, and what happens if it does not.
- Compare at the same time: odds can change, so an undated price is difficult to compare.
- Read the operator’s rules for ties, void bets, placements and head-to-heads.
The sources establish that markets and settlement details differ; they do not establish that one bookmaker is universally best.

Settlement rules depend on the bookmaker
Sky Bet’s published Eurovision rules say its markets settle on the official result announced on contest night. The rules cover winner, semi-final winner, placement, head-to-head, group and voting-group markets, and specify special conditions for qualification, ties or void outcomes. These are Sky Bet’s terms, not universal rules: check the rules for the particular operator and market before relying on a displayed price.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What an odds page does—and does not—tell you
An odds page can show how bookmakers have priced a particular outcome at a particular point in time. It does not make that outcome official, guarantee a result, or establish that a price is still available. EurovisionWorld also discloses commercial relationships with some bookmakers and says it does not take bets itself. That disclosure is useful context when reading its listings; it does not change the distinction between bookmaker prices and contest results.
