Those details are for the US. Warner Bros. Discovery regional pages listed April 13 for some territories, including Finland, Spain and Serbia. A different local calendar date can reflect the time of the US evening premiere; check the local HBO or streaming schedule for your country rather than treating April 12 as a worldwide date.
Do Cassie and Nate get married?
According to The Hollywood Reporter’s December 4, 2025 coverage, Levinson disclosed that Cassie and Nate get married in season 3. The report also says the story jumps forward five years. The available THR item is a video listing, not a full interview transcript, so the marriage detail is best treated as a reported creator disclosure—not as a verified verbatim quote.

What HBO has confirmed about the season
HBO describes the season as an eight-episode HBO Original and gives this logline: “A group of childhood friends wrestle with the virtue of faith, the possibility of redemption, and the problem of evil.” The press release credits Sam Levinson as creator, writer, director and executive producer.
HBO’s announcement also says the first two seasons earned 25 Emmy nominations and nine wins combined. Those are HBO’s figures for seasons 1 and 2, not awards for season 3.
