Us Weekly reported that McCormack may seek a modification beginning June 1, 2035; People, in a report republished by Yahoo, described the support as non-modifiable until 2035.
What the reported settlement provides
The monthly support is separate from Holden’s reported share of income or profits from certain works created during the marriage. Us Weekly and People/Yahoo said the agreement covers “Community Property Works,” including work associated with Will & Grace, Lego Masters, McCormack’s podcast, Murdoch Mysteries, Atypical and other acting projects. People/Yahoo gave the covered period as August 3, 1997, through the couple’s February 12, 2024 separation date. The reports do not establish that Holden receives half of all of McCormack’s future earnings; they describe a share of income or profits from specified works within the agreement.

How the support term is described
Us Weekly reported that support would remain at $10,000 per month until June 1, 2035, when McCormack could seek a modification. People/Yahoo characterized the amount as non-modifiable until 2035. The reporting describes a date at which he may seek a change, not an automatic end to payments on that date.
Reported property division
Us Weekly reported that Holden received a Los Angeles home, two condominiums, vehicles, some bank accounts and interests in retirement plans, in addition to the share of project earnings. It said McCormack kept another Los Angeles home, two Vespas and rights to three entertainment companies. Holden was also reported to have permission to use the couple’s Vancouver home for five years.
