India Today reported on February 5, 2026, that a 2010 email from Eva Andersson-Dubin invited Jeffrey Epstein to her home while her 15-year-old daughter, Celina, was expected to have five friends over. The original email was not available in the records surfaced here, so those details should be understood as India Today’s account—not as independently verified wording from the document.
What did the reported 2010 email say?
According to India Today’s February 5, 2026 report, Eva Andersson-Dubin invited Epstein to visit her home and wrote that her daughter Celina would have five friends over. India Today reported that Celina was 15 at the time. The article included the short phrase “Celina will have 5 friends over,” but without the primary email available for comparison, it should be treated as wording reported by the outlet rather than a verified direct quotation.
What does the invitation establish—and what does it not?
If accurately described, the email documents an invitation and a statement about who was expected at the home. On its own, it does not establish why Andersson-Dubin invited Epstein, whether he accepted or visited, or whether anything happened involving Celina or her friends. The daughter’s age and the presence of teenage friends explain why the detail draws attention, but they do not prove intent or misconduct.
Why is a 2013 email appearing in some archive results?
A separate record, document EFTA00718416, is a February 2013 exchange—not the 2010 invitation described by India Today. In it, Eva Dubin wrote, “We would LOVE for you to come over any time here and bring Woody and his family and Larry as well if he is”. Its date and wording should not be substituted for the reported 2010 message.

What is known about Andersson-Dubin’s relationship with Epstein?
The Associated Press reported that Epstein and Eva Andersson-Dubin dated on and off in the mid-1980s and remained friends after their relationship ended. AP also reported that she testified at Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial and denied participating in a group sexual encounter with a key accuser. That background provides context about their relationship, but does not establish the purpose or consequences of the reported 2010 invitation.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why might the original email be hard to find?
The U.S. Department of Justice says its Epstein Library contains materials responsive under the Epstein Files Transparency Act and may be updated as additional documents are identified. The department also warns that technical limitations can leave portions of the collection unsearchable or make search results unreliable. Consequently, the fact that the 2010 email was not surfaced in the searches described here does not prove that it is absent from the full archive.
Read the claims with the distinction between report and record in mind: India Today described a 2010 invitation and the daughter’s age; the surfaced EFTA00718416 message is from 2013; and neither the reported invitation nor the separate exchange establishes a visit or conduct involving the daughter or her friends.
