ENHYPEN’s second studio album, ROMANCE : UNTOLD, was released in Korea on July 12, 2024. Its nine-track lineup pairs the group’s romantic, summery concept with documented member songwriting on two songs and a JVKE feature on the English version of “XO (Only If You Say Yes).”
What is ROMANCE : UNTOLD?
ENHYPEN’s official discography identifies ROMANCE : UNTOLD as the group’s second studio album, released in Korea on July 12, 2024. The title is distinct from ROMANCE : UNTOLD -daydream-, which the official discography lists as a separate repackage released in November 2024. See ENHYPEN’s official discography.
The original album’s nine tracks are:
- “Moonstruck”
- “XO (Only If You Say Yes)”
- “Your Eyes Only”
- “Hundred Broken Hearts”
- “Brought The Heat Back”
- “Paranormal”
- “Royalty”
- “Highway 1009”
- “XO (Only If You Say Yes) (English Ver.) Feat. JVKE”
How members contributed to the songwriting
Apple Music’s album commentary identifies member songwriting contributions on “Hundred Broken Hearts” and “Highway 1009.” It says every member contributed lyrics to “Highway 1009,” which it describes as ENHYPEN’s first fan song. That is specific evidence of participation on those two tracks—not a claim that all seven members wrote across the whole album. Read Apple Music’s album commentary.
Apple Music characterizes the album as exploring attraction through dance-pop, R&B, and ballad styles. Its commentary also notes that Ni-ki’s introduction to “Moonstruck” helps set the album’s tone; these are platform descriptions, rather than a formal genre classification.

Sunghoon on the album’s romantic, summery concept
In an interview with GRAMMY.com, Sunghoon said the members wanted the album to give fans “this heart-fluttering feeling” and to present a different side of ENHYPEN after darker previous work. He described the project’s framing as summery and said the group hoped it would draw attention from a wider audience. That last point was their aim, not a measured audience outcome. JVKE is credited on the English version of “XO (Only If You Say Yes),” not as a feature on every version of the song. He told GRAMMY.com: “It was really cool to work on the song with the guys, and I think that you will definitely be able to tell the parts that I’m really — you know, I tend to write a lot of love songs. That’s just how I am.” His comment connects his contribution to the love-song writing he said comes naturally to him.
