A report the following day described the color as “cinnamon spice” or chestnut-tinged auburn and detailed sheer black and white skirt looks. Those are editorial descriptions; the sources do not identify a dye formula or the garments’ exact brands.
What the PORTER photographs showed
The September 1, 2025 report described one image of Blunt wearing a nude bra, black underwear, a sheer black lingerie skirt and an oversized floor-length overcoat. In another, black underwear showed beneath a sheer white skirt. The report does not establish the designer or model of those specific pieces, so they cannot be reliably identified beyond the descriptions.
The photographs were part of PORTER’s cover feature, published August 31. The official feature credits Tyler McCall as interviewer, Misha Taylor as photographer and Helen Broadfoot as stylist. Its available look information names some clothing and labels, but does not comprehensively match each item to the lingerie images.
What “cinnamon spice” means here
The report uses “cinnamon spice” and “chestnut-tinged auburn” for Blunt’s warm-toned hair. These are descriptions of how the shade appeared, not a standardized color classification or a verified salon formula. Neither a colorist nor a product used to achieve the shade is identified in the cited coverage.

The September 1 report also described Blunt wearing the same shade at the Venice Film Festival photocall for The Smashing Machine. It noted a baby-blue gown, gold jewelry and ankle-strap heels, but did not establish the gown’s designer.
How this differed from her earlier 2025 hair looks
The report contrasted the cinnamon-chestnut auburn with fiery red and platinum blonde looks Blunt had worn earlier while filming The Devil Wears Prada 2. The distinction is one of appearance and setting: those were reported filming looks, while the auburn shade appeared in the PORTER shoot and at the Venice photocall. The coverage does not verify a particular dye process or establish that these appearances reflect Blunt’s hair now.

The PORTER feature beyond the styling
PORTER’s interview focused on family, friendship, work and The Devil Wears Prada 2. Discussing press-tour dressing, Blunt said: “I quite like it if it is emblematic of the movie, because then, that in turn, feels more fun, more specific – and I love a story.” That remark gives context to how she thinks about clothing and storytelling, but it does not identify the inspiration or brands behind every look in the shoot.
