The operator’s pages connect the attraction to the site’s institutional past, but the available sources do not establish that it is objectively Michigan’s “top” haunt.
1. Eloise Asylum is in Westland, Michigan
The attraction lists its address as 30712 Michigan Ave, Westland, MI 48186. Use the operator’s directions and parking instructions rather than assuming nearby business lots are available to visitors. Eloise Asylum’s official site
2. Its setting is part of the attraction’s story
The operator says the institution began in 1839 as a psychiatric hospital and later included a tuberculosis sanatorium and poorhouse. That is the operator’s account of the site’s history, not a complete independent historical record. The attraction draws on this setting, but its paranormal themes should be understood as entertainment: the cited material does not independently establish paranormal claims.
3. The haunt is one of several experiences
The operator lists several ways to visit, with different formats and time commitments. Check current schedules and booking availability before choosing; the attractions page does not guarantee every offering is available on every date. Official attractions list

6. October 30 requires a special ticket for the concert and haunt
On October 30, only the Haunt/Concert GA and Haunt/Concert VIP tickets include both activities. Standard haunt tickets are not valid for that event. The concert page lists doors at 6 p.m. and requires attendees to be at least 18, with valid ID shown when signing the waiver. That age rule is specific to the October 30 concert; the reviewed pages do not establish a general age policy for the standard haunt. October 30 concert information

7. Entry is timed, and parking has specific rules
The operator says the haunt is a timed-ticketed event, so arrive for the entry time on your ticket. The official attraction page lists parking at $20 and warns visitors not to park in the Kroger lot at 31300 Michigan Ave. Parking details and fees may change; check the official page close to your visit. 8. Tickets are described as final, with a same-season date-change option
The operator’s posted terms describe ticket sales as final but say tickets can be rescheduled to another time during the same season. Review the current terms and contact the operator if your plans change; do not assume a refund or a date change beyond the stated same-season option. Operator ticket information

9. The history tour is longer and more physically demanding than a standard haunt visit
The operator describes the history tour as a three-hour guided experience covering the Kay Beard building and grounds. Its page notes stairs and uneven ground, recommends weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear, and allows photography and video for personal use. This is a distinct tour rather than a substitute description of the haunted house. History tour details

- For the history tour, wear sturdy, closed-toe walking shoes suited to stairs and uneven ground, and dress for the weather.
