Lady Eliza Spencer and Channing Millerd are engaged, and Eliza’s recent wedding-venue search suggests preparations are moving forward. But there is no confirmed wedding date or final venue in the available public reporting, so “soon” remains a possibility rather than a scheduled event.
What suggests the wedding may be getting closer?
In an August 3, 2026 report, AOL quoted an Instagram caption from Eliza: “Wedding venue hunting begins…🤍.” It is the clearest public sign that the couple have started considering locations. Venue hunting indicates planning, but does not establish when the wedding will take place or whether a venue has been selected. AOL reported the caption on August 3, 2026.
What is known about the engagement?
Eliza Spencer and Channing Millerd became engaged in 2025. Public coverage also described an engagement party in Cape Town. Those milestones confirm the couple’s engagement, but the party location should not be mistaken for a wedding destination. AOL’s report covers the engagement and venue-search caption.
Is Lake Como the wedding venue?
No. Eliza has described Lake Como as a dream destination, not a chosen venue. In Tatler’s December 2025 coverage, she said: “I’ve never been to Lake Como, but it looks so beautiful. I think that would be my dream destination, but we still have to visit it first.” Her remarks establish interest, while also making clear that she had not yet visited. Tatler published her comments in December 2025.

A July 2026 report said no wedding plans had been announced at that point; the August venue-hunting report documents activity after that earlier update. HELLO! reported in July 2026 that plans had not then been announced. The latest relevant report available here is dated August 3, 2026, so any subsequent announcement would change the picture.
