Por qué se relacionan algunas transformaciones con sus papeles
Jenni Rivera en Mariposa de Barrio
En la serie de 2017, Zendejas interpretó a Jenni Rivera durante su adolescencia. La cifra de 59 a 89 kilos que se repite en notas sobre su cambio procede de un relato atribuido a la actriz y difundido por Las Estrellas. Es más preciso presentarla como una cifra reportada por ella para ese papel que como un dato comprobado por terceros.
Años después, Univision contó que la actriz pensaba, tras su etapa en Atrévete a Soñar, que su tipo de cuerpo podía cerrarle el paso a papeles protagónicos. Según esa cobertura, interpretar a Rivera también contribuyó a que aprendiera a amar su cuerpo. Mamba en Enemigo Íntimo
Para el personaje de Mamba, en 2018, Zendejas se rapó parcialmente la cabeza, de acuerdo con Las Estrellas. Ese cambio de cabello, a diferencia de una transformación física general, es una modificación de apariencia concreta vinculada a una interpretación.
