Why Jennifer Lopez canceled the tour
Lopez canceled her planned 2024 North American tour before it began. Live Nation representatives said she was taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends. In her message to fans, Lopez said she was “completely heartsick and devastated” about letting them down and would not cancel unless she felt it was “absolutely necessary.”
The tour was planned in support of Lopez’s album This Is Me… Now and its companion film. It was initially announced as This Is Me… Now: The Tour and was referred to as This Is Me…Live when the cancellation was announced.

What was known about ticket sales
Disappointing ticket sales were discussed in reports before the cancellation, but they should not be treated as its confirmed cause. The Los Angeles Times reported that a person close to Lopez said sales were not a factor and had increased in key cities. Live Nation’s public explanation was that Lopez was taking time for family and friends.
