It followed the previously announced Perth date on Saturday, 31 January. Both concerts have now passed.
Why a second Perth show was added
Promoters Frontier Touring and MG Live said the extra date was added “Due to overwhelming demand by fans.” Their 28 July 2025 announcement added four stadium shows across Australia, including dates in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne as well as Perth. Frontier Touring said more than 2.5 million tickets had been sold across Australia and New Zealand to that point; that was the promoter’s figure in its 2025 announcement, not an independently audited total. Perth dates and venue
| Show | Date | Venue |
|---|---|---|
| First Perth show | Saturday, 31 January 2026 | Optus Stadium, Perth, Western Australia |
| Added second Perth show | Sunday, 1 February 2026 | Optus Stadium, Perth, Western Australia |
The venue had hosted Sheeran before: PerthNow reported that his March 2023 performance drew 73,092 people and set Optus Stadium’s record for its largest single crowd. That figure is attributed to PerthNow’s report, rather than the 2025 tour announcement. PerthNow’s report
How the Loop Tour connected to Play
Frontier Touring said the Loop Tour followed the release of Sheeran’s album Play, which was scheduled for 12 September 2025. The album connection provided the tour’s context in the promoter’s announcement; it did not change the two Perth concert dates.

Ticketing guidance for the Perth events
For these Perth shows, Frontier’s event FAQ named Ticketmaster as the authorised ticketing agency. Its instructions were specific to the events: “Tickets can only be accessed via Authorised Ticketing Agency’s iOS or Android App.” The FAQ also said, “No physical tickets including those purchased from Authorised Ticketing Agency outlets will be acceptable for entry.” These were entry requirements for the 2026 concerts, not information about tickets available now. Frontier Touring’s event FAQ
Frontier’s terms warn against unauthorised sellers and state that the promoter does not allocate tickets to named unauthorised resellers. The authorised-agency information is the appropriate reference for the event’s ticketing rules; it does not guarantee resale inventory or endorse unauthorised listings. Frontier Touring’s terms
