They said he landed on his oxygen machine, his oxygen level was low, and X-rays ruled out broken ribs. Reports said he was sent home to recover.
What happened to Uncle Si Robertson?
Justin Martin and Phillip McMillan recounted the fall on The Duck Call Room, the podcast they co-host with Robertson. Martin said Robertson fell while climbing out of the boat and landed on his oxygen machine. “He fell trying to get out of the boat. He fell on his oxygen machine but he bounced right back up,” Martin said, as quoted by The Independent.
The accounts said Robertson seemed unusually quiet afterward. According to CBN News, his oxygen level was reported as low, and he was taken to the ER for evaluation. McMillan described his reaction to hearing about the hospital visit: “My heart just dropped.”
What did the ER evaluation show?
Martin and McMillan said Robertson complained of pain and thought he might have broken ribs. The contemporaneous reports say X-rays ruled out broken ribs. CBN News reported that he received medication and was sent home to recover; The Independent reported that bruising was suspected. These are details from the co-hosts’ account as reported by the outlets, not a published medical record or statement from a treating clinician.
