That distinction matters when searching or buying: a listing for Druuna X may be an illustrated collection rather than a volume that continues the story of Morbus Gravis.
Why do sources give both 1993 and 1999?
The available catalog records do not resolve the date for the exact item. The specialist page uses “Druuna X (1993) Especial,” but Guia dos Quadrinhos catalogs Druuna X n° 1 under Heavy Metal with a 1999 publication date and describes a poster and pin-up collection. A newspaper archive entry dated 8 July 1999 also mentions Druuna X 1 and 2 for sale in Brazil. These references may relate to different editions or cataloging conventions; they do not prove which year belongs to the specific copy a reader has in mind.
For an exact identification, use the year printed on the item and compare it with the issue number, imprint and contents. The catalog record is available at Guia dos Quadrinhos; the contemporaneous newspaper archive is Diário da Manhã, 8 July 1999.
