Spoilers ahead. No. Predator: Badlands has no extra scene during or after the credits, according to What’s After The Credits? Its sequel tease happens in the film’s final scene, before the credits begin.
Does Predator: Badlands have a post-credits scene?
No. There is no mid-credits or post-credits scene to wait for. The credits-scene guide What’s After The Credits? says the movie continues its final scene before the credits roll, so the ending itself contains the setup for what might come next.

What happens at the end of Predator: Badlands?
The film follows Dek, a young Predator exiled from his clan, as he hunts the Kalisk and forms an unlikely alliance with Thia, a stranded synth. Disney described it as the first film in the Predator universe centered on the Yautja and the first to make a Predator the protagonist and an underdog. Disney’s film overview provides that context for the ending’s shift in perspective.
By the finale, Dek has avenged his brother by defeating his father. TIME’s recap says Dek returns to his homeworld with Thia and Bud. Then Dek’s mother’s ship appears, introducing a possible new danger just as the immediate conflict is resolved. TIME’s ending recap describes the image as a hint that the trio may face a more formidable threat.
#1 Best Overall
- This thrilling chapter in the heart-stopping “Predator” franchise is set in the future on a remote planet. A young Predator (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi), outcast from his clan, finds an unlikely ally in Thia (Elle Fanning) and embarks on a treacherous journey in search of the ultimate adversary.
Does the ending confirm a Predator: Badlands sequel?
No. The ship is a story hook: it suggests another conflict could follow, but it does not confirm that a direct sequel has been approved. A February 2026 interview with director and producer Dan Trachtenberg discusses broader future ideas, including another project connected to Prey; it does not establish a Badlands sequel, release date, or production schedule. The interview supports the distinction between creative possibilities and an announced production plan.

Badlands gives Dek a clear resolution—he defeats his father and returns home—before adding the image of his mother’s ship. That structure closes his immediate struggle while leaving a new question open: what will happen when the ship arrives? The question is part of the movie’s ending, not a separate scene hidden in the credits.
