Spoiler: No—Gojo does not come back to life in the final chapter of Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen. Chapter 271 shows him in a flashback conversation with Yuji, recalling a moment before the Shinjuku battle. It is a remembrance, not a resurrection.
What happens to Gojo in chapter 271?

Why might it look like Gojo returned?
Earlier in the Shinjuku fight, Yuta used a copied body-transfer technique to take control of Gojo’s body. That put Gojo’s body back into action, but it was Yuta using it—not Gojo reviving. The distinction matters: the battle event and the chapter 271 memory are separate, and neither makes the finale a resurrection.
What does the flashback mean for Yuji?
The conversation gives Yuji a way to carry Gojo’s expectations and influence into the future. Gojo remains important to Yuji’s choices, but the story frames that importance as legacy and remembrance, not a physical return.

Where does the manga end?
Chapter 271 is the final chapter of Akutami’s manga. ComicBook.com reported the creator’s note alongside the finale: “We’ve reach the end,” Akutami shared. “Thank you all for your support!! I’ll keep doing my best with my future works.” The report attributed the note to Shueisha’s posting.
ComicBook.com also reported on September 30, 2024, that Jujutsu Kaisen had reached 100 million copies in circulation. That figure is attributed to the report; it is not an independently verified sales figure here.
