What Max subscription comes with DashPass?

The offer is a digital subscription benefit; DoorDash does not specify a required television, streaming stick, or other device.

DoorDash announced the partnership on August 13, 2024. At launch, the company described DashPass as $96 per year and characterized the Max benefit as a $240 annual value. Those are DoorDash’s dated promotional figures, not confirmation of current DashPass pricing or an independently established value for Max. DoorDash’s 2024 announcement stated: “Starting today, Max With Ads is now included with a DashPass Annual Plan membership in the U.S. at no additional cost, giving consumers a $240 annual value for $96/year.”
Who is eligible?
DoorDash’s offer FAQ says eligible DashPass Annual Plan members in the U.S., including Puerto Rico, can enroll. It identifies the primary account holder as the eligible person. The FAQ says Max With Ads is currently available only through the annual plan; an existing monthly member must change to an annual plan before enrolling.

Do not assume that a student, gifted, or partner DashPass arrangement qualifies: DoorDash’s FAQ specifies eligible Annual Plan members but does not establish eligibility for those other arrangements. How to activate Max through DashPass
- Sign in to the DoorDash account of the primary account holder and confirm that the account has an eligible DashPass Annual Plan.
- Open DoorDash’s Max partnership information and follow the link to the “Manage Max Subscription” page in your DoorDash account.
- Complete the enrollment steps shown there. If you choose the ad-free upgrade, review and confirm its separate terms and recurring charge before proceeding.
