No. Tom Hardy’s Alfie Solomons does not appear in Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man. Creator Steven Knight once considered revealing that Alfie had died after the beach shooting at Margate, but he rejected the idea. That abandoned possibility is not the film’s confirmed explanation of Alfie’s fate.
What happens to Alfie Solomons in the film?
Alfie is absent from The Immortal Man. Netflix’s official cast list does not include Tom Hardy, and Radio Times reports that the character does not appear in the film. That answers whether Hardy returned; it does not establish a new on-screen account of what happened to Alfie.

Was Alfie confirmed dead after the Margate shooting?
No. Knight considered a story idea in which Alfie had been dead since the shooting at Margate. As Radio Times reports, the thought came from the fact that Tommy and Alfie were shown alone together afterward. Knight said he did not use that idea. It should therefore be treated as a discarded possibility, not as established Peaky Blinders canon or a reveal in the movie.
Why did the headline say his fate was confirmed?
The page matching the “fate confirmed” headline does not provide a specific reveal in its accessible text. The available post-release reporting instead says Alfie is not in the film and distinguishes Knight’s unused idea from what the story actually confirms. Hardy’s 2024 remark about a possible return was speculative, according to Radio Times; it was not evidence that he had joined the movie.

What is The Immortal Man?
Netflix describes the film as a feature continuation of the six-season series, set during World War II. Knight’s official Netflix Tudum statement sets that wartime context: “The country is at war, and so, of course, are our Peaky Blinders.” The Tudum cast list names Cillian Murphy, Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, Stephen Graham, Sophie Rundle, Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee, Ian Peck, Jay Lycurgo and Barry Keoghan; it does not list Hardy.
