What happened with the 2024 Perth announcement?
On 6 September 2024, PerthNow reported that Disco Club co-founders Lise Carlaw and Sarah Wills would bring the event back to Perth on 7 December 2024 at Magnet House. The announcement followed two sold-out Perth nights in May 2024. Both dates are historical; the Magnet House event is not upcoming.
At the time, the announcement described the audience as women and people who identify as women. It invited guests to wear their “sparkly best,” but that was outfit inspiration, not a stated purchase requirement. PerthNow’s 2024 announcement gives the original event details.
Is there another Disco Club event in Perth?
A separate episode listing published on 17 June 2026 announced a Perth Disco Club event for Saturday 5 December 2026 at Metro City Perth. It also gave a presale and public ticket-sale schedule, but does not confirm current ticket inventory or establish that tickets remain available on 8 October 2026. For current event details and ticket links, check the Perth announcement on Apple Podcasts and follow the official Disco Club information linked there. Disco Club says its mailing list is where it shares tour dates and ticket information.

What is Disco Club?
Disco Club is an event series founded by podcasters Lise Carlaw and Sarah Wills. Its premise is a group night of dancing and singing to familiar songs: the Perth announcement described music ranging from the 1980s and 1990s through the early 2000s and newer hits. The founders have framed it as a chance to enjoy a night out dancing together. Carlaw told ABC News the event offers “a space for a big group of girls to come together.”
ABC News reported that the format appealed to women who had not been nightclubbing for years. An earlier finish is part of that appeal: ABC described an event wrapping up around 10pm. That is a reported example, not a guaranteed finish time for every Disco Club date, so check the specific listing for its schedule.

The scale of the series varies by event and location. ABC News reported that more than 1,000 women attended a Brisbane event in early August 2024; that figure is about Brisbane, not Perth. The official Disco Club about page gives the founders’ account of the series and its growth.

- Date and venue: The 2024 Magnet House event has passed. The later announcement lists 5 December 2026 at Metro City Perth.
- Tickets and seller: Verify availability and use the official event information or authorised ticket link; the available 2026 listing does not confirm live inventory.
- Audience and entry terms: The 2024 Perth announcement described the audience as women and people who identify as women. Check the current event listing for its own entry details.
- Schedule: Confirm the doors, finish time and any other event timings on the listing for the specific date.
- Music and dress: The 2024 announcement described a broad mix of familiar songs and suggested sparkly attire. Themes and details can differ by edition; for example, the white theme on the Hordern Pavilion listing applies to a Sydney event, not the Perth date.
