Perth’s 2024 Diner en Blanc brought an all-white crowd to Subiaco Oval for an evening of shared meals, champagne, live music and dancing. The gathering was Perth’s ninth edition of the event, whose secret destination was revealed to guests shortly before they were escorted to the venue.
Inside the Subiaco Oval celebration
PerthNow’s social gallery, published November 18, 2024, captures guests in white outfits, with reported styling details including feathers, ruffles and sparkle. The evening’s details included shared meals and champagne, while Joel Jackson and DJ FADJ played into the night.
The gallery describes guests spinning napkins and dancing with sparklers. Its lead photograph names Sarah Jongeling and Jordana Sisarich and is credited to Alan Chau/The West Australian.
How the secret-location format worked
For the Perth event, guests met at assigned departure points and were escorted to the dinner site; the venue was traditionally kept secret until shortly before the gathering. That format made the destination part of the evening’s reveal. In 2024, the destination was Subiaco Oval.

Where Subiaco Oval fits in Perth’s event history
A PerthNow retrospective lists a changing venue for each edition from 2016 to 2024:
| Year | Perth venue |

| 2017 | The Esplanade in Fremantle |
| 2018 | Yagan Square |
