What is Dil Dosti Dilemma about?
Asmara, played by Anushka Sen, is a privileged teenager from Bengaluru expecting to spend her summer in Canada. When those plans fall through, she stays with her maternal grandparents in the middle-class Tibbri Road neighborhood. She initially conceals the change from her friends, but life with her grandparents brings new friendships, a budding romance and a different view of family and community.

The series adapts Andaleeb Wajid’s young-adult novel Asmara’s Summer, published in 2016. Amazon describes the story as one of coming of age, embracing one’s roots, nurturing relationships and self-discovery. Kush Jotwani plays Farzaan, Asmara’s romantic interest. Tanvi Azmi and Shishir Sharma play her grandparents; the supporting cast includes Shruti Seth, Suhasini Mulay, Vishakha Pandey, Revathi Pillai and Elisha Mayor. Debbie Rao directed, with Seema Mohapatra and Jahanara Bhargava named as creative producers by Amazon.
Is Dil Dosti Dilemma worth watching?
It is a reasonable choice for viewers who want a light, relationship-centered coming-of-age story, especially one that gives family and neighborhood ties a substantial role. The critical response in two reviews is mixed rather than unanimous: both recognize warmth in the show, while raising reservations about its writing or characterization.

Dil Dosti Dilemma is listed on Prime Video as one season with seven episodes. Amazon announced its premiere for April 25, 2024, in Hindi, with Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada dubs, and said the planned launch covered more than 240 countries and territories. That announced footprint does not guarantee current availability in every country, so check the local Prime Video catalog.
