That March interview is not the latest public account: Holland’s reported confirmation came in June.

That wording sits uneasily beside Holland’s June confirmation, but the report does not explain the difference. It is not enough to conclude that Holland’s statement referred to something other than a marriage, or to supply a legal-status explanation.
