The $142,000 Christmas-gift total and “cozy” ski getaway were reported by The U.S. Sun on December 25, 2025, citing an unnamed insider. The story described plans for a future trip and gifts Swift was expected to open—not independently verified gifts or travel. Later comments by Kelce confirm that the couple exchanged Christmas presents, but do not confirm the reported total, luxury-item list or getaway.
What the $142,000 report claimed
In a December 25, 2025 report, The U.S. Sun said Kelce had planned a winter getaway and gifts for Swift, citing a “well-placed insider” and a “source close to Taylor and Travis.” Neither source was named. The article described anticipated plans and gift-opening; it did not establish that the trip took place or that Swift received every listed item. The U.S. Sun’s report put the overall value at $142,000.
The publication listed these items and prices. They are prices reported by The U.S. Sun in 2025, not verified receipts or current retail prices:
| Item as described in the report | Reported price |
|---|---|
| DiorAlps Small D-Journey Bag in Suede Lambskin | $6,700 |
| Dior puffer vest | $4,300 |
| Dior cashmere zipped cardigan | $4,000 |
| Dior puffer jacket | $6,200 |
| Dior ski pants | $4,300 |
| Dior scarf | $1,900 |
| Prada coat | $6,700 |
| Prada suede jacket | $10,500 |
| Rolex Sky-Dweller described as 36 mm in 18 ct Everose gold | $90,850 |
Did Kelce confirm the luxury gifts or ski trip?
No. E! later reported that Kelce discussed Christmas gifts on the December 31, 2025 episode of New Heights. He said, “The best gift that I got was from Taylor,” but declined to identify it: “But it gives away things that we’re trying to keep in-house, so not going to say it. I love you, Tay.” Those remarks confirm a gift exchange, not the anonymous-source report’s $142,000 total or full list.

Kelce also said one of Swift’s favorite gifts from him was a bread slicer, explaining that she had been making sourdough. E!’s account of his podcast comments does not confirm that the reported designer items were gifts or that the winter getaway happened. E!’s report on the podcast comments also quotes Kelce’s father, Ed, recalling earlier general advice about gifts: “The amount of money is meaningless.” That was not a comment on the 2025 gift list.
Why the reported Rolex description needs a caveat
The U.S. Sun called the reported watch a 36 mm Sky-Dweller in 18 ct Everose gold and assigned it a $90,850 price. The Rolex page linked by the article currently shows a different specification: a 42 mm Everose gold Sky-Dweller, reference 336935, with a U.S. price of $63,700. That current listing does not verify the exact watch described in the report. Rolex says its watches are sold and maintained only by official Rolex jewelers. Rolex’s current Sky-Dweller listing is a separate model-and-price reference, not evidence of what Kelce may have bought.

What was said about the “cozy” trip?
The Sun’s unnamed source described skiing, hot chocolate, cozy rooms and watching snowfall. Those details are attributed to that anonymous source; they are not a confirmed itinerary or proof that the couple took the trip. Marie Claire also covered the $142,000 figure, but repeated the original report rather than independently corroborating its claims. Marie Claire’s coverage therefore does not provide separate confirmation.
